Flights
Transportation to and from Salt Lake City International Airport and your hotel will be provided on the specified event arrival and departure dates. Incidental costs during travel or transportation outside of the arrival and departure dates are the responsibility of the qualifier.
Self-booking
You may choose to book your own flight and receive a flight stipend that will be reimbursed to you after the event has concluded. Flight stipend amounts will be based on your departure airport. The full stipend amount will be paid regardless of the cost of the flight booked, whether it is more or less than the stipend amount. We recommend booking your flights early to mitigate the risk of paying more than the stipend amount provided.
Your individual flight stipend amount will be emailed to you by July 3.
Please note that all flight stipend amounts include a pre-determined allowance for luggage fees. No additional reimbursements will be given for luggage expenses.
Once your flights have been booked for you and your eligible guest, please click here to upload your flight itinerary, banking information, and receipts by July 26. This will ensure that we have accounted for your ground transportation needs to and from Salt Lake International Airport. If you choose to book your own flights and receive a flight stipend, Young Living will not reimburse you for any amount if you cancel your registration, regardless of the date your registration is cancelled.
You must upload your itinerary, banking information, and receipts for your flight stipend reimbursement to be processed and paid.
When you upload your flight itinerary and receipts, you will be asked in a secure section of the form to provide banking information. Flight stipends will be sent to members through Wire Transfers or ACH payments. You must enter your correct banking information to receive a reimbursement. (US/Canada members will have the option to request a physical check be mailed out rather than an online transfer. Physical checks are a much slower return).
After you officially check in at the event in Salt Lake City, Young Living will start the process of reimbursements. All online reimbursements will be paid by November 1, 2024. If you do not receive the quoted flight stipend in your account by November 2, 2024, and you have uploaded your receipts, please email travelrequests@youngliving.com.
Agent-booking
If you wish to have a travel agency coordinate travel arrangements for you and your eligible guest, please click “Yes” and fill out a flight request during registration.
Within approximately three-four weeks following registration, the travel agency will contact you to coordinate your travel arrangements. Please respond to the agent within 24 hours to avoid increased fares or flights selling out. Please do not contact the travel agency directly prior to an agent reaching out to you regarding Silver Retreat flights. If the travel agency will be booking any guest’s flights, a credit card will be required at the time of booking.
If you choose to utilize the travel agency to book your air travel, they will include the cost of luggage (1 piece covered per person/per direction) in your reservation. If your ticket does not allow luggage to be added at booking, Young Living will reimburse you for up to 1 piece of luggage, per direction. After the event has concluded, you will receive a form that will allow you to submit your luggage receipts. This reimbursement will be included in your September commission check. No additional reimbursements will be given for luggage expenses.
If your desired travel itinerary has additional stops outside of Salt Lake City, you will be required to book flights on your own and receive a reimbursement.
Hotel Accommodations
Silver Retreat qualifiers and their eligible guest* will stay at the Hyatt Regency in Salt Lake City, Utah, checking in on October 3 and checking out on October 6. Attendees who have been approved for an early arrival due to flight patterns can check-in to the Hyatt on October 2.
If you and/or your guest wish to extend your stay, you are welcome to take advantage of Young Living’s special room rate of $277 USD for three days prior to and three days after the event dates. Outside of these dates, your room will be subject to prevailing rates. Any nights stayed outside of October 3–6 will be at your own cost and based on availability at the hotel, apart from those whose flights require early arrival due to flight patterns.
Please note that if there are flight opportunities that allow you to arrive by 4 p.m. on October 3, but you choose another flight, you do not qualify. Young Living will not cover additional expenses for early arrivals or late departures outside of these parameters. However, if you choose to extend your stay, Young Living will cover the flight cost if there is no increase in the fare due to the changed dates. If the changed dates do result in an increased fare, Young Living will cover the flight cost up to the original amount, and you will be required to cover the difference.
If you wish to extend your stay, please make this request during the registration process. Otherwise, please email travelrequests@youngliving.com with your desired dates by July 8. The Young Living Events team will submit the request on your behalf and inform you if it can be accommodated.
Ground Transportation
Young Living will cover the cost of ground transportation, specified meals, and hotel accommodations during the event dates only. Young Living will provide shuttle transportation from the Salt Lake City International Airport on October 3 (or October 2 for those who qualify for early arrival) to the Hyatt Regency Hotel. If you arrive or depart outside of the designated dates of arrivals on October 3 (or October 2 for those who qualify for early arrival) and departures on October 6, ground transportation to and from the hotel will not be arranged or covered.
Wednesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 3, Salt Lake City Airport Shuttle Service to Hyatt Regency:
- Shuttles services: 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Shuttles depart approximately every 30 minutes.
- Retrieve your luggage at Baggage Claim, then proceed to the Young Living Transportation Desk located across from Baggage Claim 1.
- If you’re unable to locate our Transportation Desk, please call our emergency line at 1.801.610.2900. There is no need to contact us if your flight is missed, delayed, or cancelled. We will be there between 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Friday, October 4: Mona Farm Transportation:
- Shuttles will depart from the Hyatt Regency at 8:30 a.m. This will be the only departure time to the farm.
- Shuttles will depart from the farm in the afternoon, with the last shuttle departing around 5 p.m. The farm is located approximately 70 miles from Salt Lake City. Travel time is estimated to be 1 hour 15 minutes.
Traveling with babies or infants on shuttles:
We understand how much is required to travel with infants. We will do all we can to make your experience as comfortable as possible. When available, we will provide you with an empty seat next to you for your baby, diaper bag, etc. While traveling on the bus, we recommend car seats for maximum safety, but they are not required. When traveling to the farm, you may stow your stroller in the luggage compartment beneath the shuttle. If you prefer, you may leave your car seat with transportation staff at the farm unloading zone to be retrieved prior to returning to Salt Lake City. Please label your belongings with your name, cell phone number, and hotel name in case we need to find you later.

Please follow these transportation instructions when departing from the Hyatt Regency Hotel for the Salt Lake City International Airport:
- Sunday, October 6: Hyatt Regency to Airport Shuttle Service.
- Shuttles depart every 30 minutes from 3:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Shuttles depart every hour from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
- Domestic departures: Please plan to depart at least 2.5 hours prior to flight departure time.
- International departures: Please plan to depart at least 3.5 hours prior to flight departure time.
Attendees can arrange their own ground transportation for the remainder of the week if desired. Please see our recommendations below.

TRAX
TRAX trains are available throughout Salt Lake City. The Blue & Green Line Trains are recommended. The city offers a portion of the TRAX lines at no cost. The "Free Fare Zone" includes the majority of Downtown SLC, including Court House Station (450 Main Street*) near the Grand America. Taking the Blue or Green Line trains North will give access to Temple Square Station (155 W South Temple) the closest Station to the Salt Palace Convention Center.
The Green Line Train has been extended to the airport! If you would like to take public transportation to and from the Airport, please use the Green line train. The Green Line train past Arena Station requires a fare of $2.50 one way. This can be purchased on the station platforms for your convenience.
