Additionally, Young Living will cover the cost of ground transportation, specified meals, one group excursion, branded retreat gifts, and hotel accommodations. Incidental costs, such as meals during travel and additional airline baggage fees, are the member’s responsibility.

Cancellation Policy
If I choose not to attend the event, is there a cash-out bonus or prize?
No, the trip is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash-out bonus or any other prize. If you are unable to attend, the reward cannot be redeemed for another form of compensation.
What happens if I cancel after booking my own flights?
If you opt to book your own flights and request reimbursement, no reimbursement will be provided if you cancel your registration, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
What happens to my flights if I book with a travel agent and then later cancel the trip?
If you cancel the trip, the booking will be canceled, and any associated credit will remain in the Young Living account. This credit does not belong to the qualifier and cannot be used for other trips.
What is the cancellation policy for a guest package?
If you cancel more than 30 days before the event (March 23), you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your guest pass 30 days or less prior to the event, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel 15 days or less (April 7) prior to the event no refund will be given.
Guests
Who is eligible to be my guest?
The one (1) guest allowed for qualifiers to bring to all event meals and activities can be anyone of your choosing, ages 2 and up.* However, only one (1) guest is permitted per qualifier. Tiers 1 & 2 will receive their guest package included as part of their incentive earnings. Tier 3 may purchase a guest package for $800 (does not include airfare) at the time of registration.
*Children under the age of 2 are considered “infants”, and are eligible to accompany you to any portion of the event without registering as the "included" or "paid" guest.
I am a Tier 3 winner; can I still bring a guest?
Yes! If you are a Tier 3 winner, you can purchase a guest package for a $800 fee. This includes ground transportation, group meals, participation in an exclusive excursion of their choice, and branded retreat gifts. Guest package does not include airfare.
To bring a guest you must purchase the guest package during registration for the event.
Can my guest attend all group meals and activities with me?
Yes, if you are a Tier 1 or Tier 2 winner, your included guest may attend all meals and activities throughout the event. If you are a Tier 3 winner and have purchased the guest package, your paid guest may attend all meals and activities. If you are a Tier 3 winner and did not purchase a guest package, your guest may stay in your room with you, but will be unable to attend any event meal or activities with you.
I had a baby recently. Can I bring my infant with me?
Young Living considers any child under 2 years old to be an "infant." Children under 2 are welcome to attend any activity. Attendees will be responsible for paying any extra costs associated with bringing their infant. Plan to provide the necessary car seat for your infant during travel.
Does my infant count as my guest?
Young Living considers any child under 2 years old to be an "infant." Qualifiers who bring their infant to the event are still eligible to bring their one (1) included or paid guest.
Can I bring my children or extra guests with me?
Bali Bound qualifiers all earn the ability to bring one (1) guest who will accompany them to all event meals and activities. This can be an adult or a child over the age of 2. Any additional children or guests beyond that must be arranged on your own. Young Living will not be responsible for or provide any activities, transportation, meals, or event gifts for additional guests or children who do not have a guest package. Young Living will also not provide childcare of any kind for included, paid, or additional guests. Additionally, children or adults without a guest package will not be allowed to attend event activities or meals unless they are infants under the age of 2 years old. While Young Living is a family-friendly company, it's important to note that only one (1) guest (adult or child) is included per qualifier, and extra accommodations for children will not be included.
If you choose to add additional guests or children to your room outside of your one (1) included or paid guest, there will be an associated cost. As the Ayana Bali Resort includes breakfast and other amenities, there are charges per person to cover additional guests. There is a maximum of three adults or two adults + two children (ages 0–11) permitted in each room.
Children ages 0–3 are able to stay at no charge
Children ages 4–11: $12 per person, per night. Includes breakfast; must share existing bed and amenities
Ages 12 and up: $74 per person, per night. Includes breakfast, extra bed and amenities
*Please note, extra guests and children will not be invited to Young Living scheduled meals or activities if they are not registered as an included or paid guest of the qualifier.
Can I change my guest ticket to another guest?
Yes. Prior to April 1 you are able to change your guest ticket to another guest. To change a guest or cancel your guest's ticket, please email events@youngliving.com. Qualifiers who make any guest changes after flights are booked will be responsible to pay for the airfare of the new guest.
Can I cancel my guest's ticket?
If you are a Tier 3 winner and purchased a guest package, you may cancel your guest's ticket. If you cancel more than 30 days before the event (March 23), you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your guest package 30–16 days (April 7) prior to the event, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel 15 days or less prior to the event no refund will be given. We recommend booking your flights early to mitigate the risk of paying more than the stipend amount provided.

The hotel offers adapters and voltage converters for guests to rent if needed. However, since availability may be limited, it’s recommended to bring your own adapters or converters if you require them.

Young Living does not reimburse expenses incurred for visa applications. Travel costs incurred between a member’s home and the airport are at the member’s expense. We consider visa application fees a travel expense. If your country requires a visa letter for this event, please email us at travelrequests@youngliving.com.
Bali
What is the weather like in Bali?
Bali has a warm, tropical climate year-round, with temperatures typically ranging from 24–32°C (75–89°F). The island experiences two main seasons: a rainy season from November to April and a dry season from May to October. During the rainy season, you can expect precipitation mainly in the late afternoon or early evening, while the dry season brings less humidity and clearer skies, ideal for outdoor activities and excursions.

What language is spoken in Bali?
The primary languages spoken in Bali are Bahasa Indonesia, Indonesia's official national language, and Bahasa Bali, the local Balinese dialect. While Bahasa Bali is prevalent among locals for cultural and traditional communication, Bahasa Indonesia is used for official and inter-regional purposes. English is also widely spoken, especially in tourist areas, making it easy for English-speaking visitors to communicate with locals in hotels, restaurants, and shops around the island.
How would you describe the culture and religious practices of the Balinese people?
The Balinese people are part of Indonesia's diverse cultural landscape, with over 300 ethnic groups across the archipelago. They primarily follow Agama Tirtha, meaning "Religion of Holy Water," a unique form of Hinduism infused with local beliefs and influences from Southeast and South Asia. Unlike other regions of Indonesia, which are predominantly Muslim, Bali stands out for its Hindu cultural heritage, evident in the island’s traditions, festivals, and numerous temples.
Temple Etiquette: When visiting temples in Bali, respectful attire is essential. It is customary to wear a sarong or prayer shawl, both of which are often available at temple entrances. Additionally, women are traditionally expected not to enter temple grounds during menstruation as part of local religious customs.
Local Currency
The official currency in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (Rp), and exchange rates vary daily, so it’s good to keep an eye on current rates. Major hotels and restaurants typically accept major credit cards and travelers' checks, though fees may apply. However, many smaller shops and markets often only accept cash, making it convenient to carry some Indonesian Rupiah with you. You can exchange foreign currencies such as Japanese Yen and U.S. Dollars at hotels and licensed money exchange offices throughout the city. ATMs are widely available in Bali’s main tourist areas and are a reliable source for obtaining cash in the local currency.
Tipping
Tipping in Bali is not generally expected, but it’s appreciated if you feel the service warrants it. Many restaurants, hotels, and spas already include a 5–10% service charge in the bill, so it’s helpful to check before tipping. If there’s no service charge, a small tip of around 5–10% for good service is a kind gesture. For other services, such as porters or drivers, small tips are appreciated but not obligatory.
Is the water safe to drink in Bali?
The tap water in Bali is not safe to drink. To ensure your hydration and safety, Young Living will provide bottled water on all excursions. Additionally, the hotel will supply water bottles in your room, which will be refreshed daily for your convenience. We recommend using the provided bottled water for drinking throughout your stay.
Miscellaneous
What should I bring?
When packing for your visit, make sure to include the following, in addition to any usual travel necessities:
Resort-casual clothes for the welcome reception and farewell dinner
Comfortable lightweight clothing and shoes for the excursion (each attendee will receive specific communications regarding the excursion of their choice)
Swimwear, with shorts and tops for around the resort
Will verbal interpretation services be available during the retreat?
Verbal interpretation services will be provided at the event based on attendee requests. Please make your request for translation services or hard-of-hearing headsets during the registration process.
Young Living will provide any required translation services during the event.
